W. Brad Wilcox
Visiting Scholar
W. Bradford Wilcox served as a Visiting Scholar for Sutherland Institute in 2023. His work focused on the impact of family structure on child outcomes; the importance of education, work and family formation on upward mobility; and policy recommendations to support and strengthen Utah families.
He is the director of the National Marriage Project and professor of sociology at University of Virginia. Wilcox is also a senior fellow at the Institute for Family Studies and a nonresident senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.
