Spencer is the media and producation manager at Sutherland Institute. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in communication with an emphasis in public relations and organizational communication.

While attending BYU-Idaho, he worked in University Relations, where he developed communication pieces for the President’s Advancement Council and produced graphics for weekly live events.

As a former Walt Disney World cast member, Spencer brings a perspective of world-class storytelling and optimism. He worked to make magic there by capturing photos of guests at iconic locations and with beloved characters.

After leaving “The Place Where Dreams Come True,” Spencer wrote for the Church News at Deseret News in Salt Lake City.

Spencer and his wife, Becca, live in Bountiful with their son.
