Members of the Committee,
My name is Christine Cooke. I’m the director of education policy at Sutherland Institute.
I sit on the Competency Based Learning Review Board, so I’m familiar with the great work being facilitated at the Utah State Board of Education, but today I’m speaking in my role at Sutherland Institute.
Sutherland Institute supports SB 132 – Competency-Based Education Amendments. We are very supportive of the innovative work happening across the state because of this grant program and we are excited to see it expand further.
