Several seats on the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) will be on the ballot in 2022. To help voters in the respective USBE districts become better acquainted with the candidates seeking to serve in these important roles, a series of debates will be conducted live via YouTube.
The debate series is hosted by the Utah Education Debate Coalition: Hinckley Institute of Politics, KSL TV, United Way of Salt Lake, Utah PTA, Utah Association of Charter Schools, and Sutherland Institute.
The first debate, among Republican candidates in District 2 – parts of Weber County, Ogden and Eden – will be conducted on Tuesday, March 22, at 12 noon.
For information about the debates, see the graphic below and also at this link.
Please note that the approximate geographic areas are indicated only as a guide. To find your USBE district, click here and enter your exact street address.
