Sutherland Institute kicked off the Education Innovations series with its first panel discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 20, in Salt Lake City. Dozens of forward-thinking educators and engaged citizens discussed programs that have helped their schools cope with the national teacher shortage. The event was a success in its effort to elevate the dialogue surrounding the teacher shortage, and it helped attendees leave with resources to spur ideas and motivation to create their own solutions.
