As the Communications Specialist, Dan manages Sutherland Institute’s digital communications platforms including social media, website content, the Sutherland Weekly newsletter, and other email campaigns. Dan joins the Sutherland team with experience in political campaigning and digital communications experience in more than a dozen states.

A native – and overly proud – Granite Stater, Dan grew up in New Hampshire with politics surrounding him on a daily basis, thanks to the state’s First-in-the-Nation Primary. Dan has experience in political messaging from the local to the federal level, having consulted on races from the town level to the U.S. House.

Dan received his bachelor of arts in law and politics from Southern New Hampshire University. Since graduating, he has founded and operated his own political general consulting firm and worked for a nationally renowned digital political firm.

In his free time, Dan can be found cheering for the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots or researching the latest news in foreign and tech policy. Dan and his wife, Molly, live in Bountiful, Utah.
