If you believe that Government has the right to define marriage as one man and one woman, then you do not understand the proper role of government.
Marriage is instituted by God, not man. Proper government borrows it&#039;s powers from man and man has no right to say what is and is not marriage. Any attempt by government to define marriage is way outside the bounds and as such is tyranny.

By the way, the first definition of marriage as 1 man &amp; 1 woman came from the Romans who could no longer capture enough women to allow more than one women per man - so they legislated it.

Once again you display such a deep and overwhelming ignorance of the topic apron which you write. Just a few hours with Bastiat&#039;s &quot;The Law&quot; could mean a whole life time of education for you. Assuming you understood it.
