What can POSSIBLY be the difference between a heterosexual & homosexual couple who both love each other and both *gasp* engage in sexual activities on occasion? How can one be selfish and the other not? Fun fact, lots of hetero couples have non-procreative sex — i.e. for pleasure! Oh the horror!

In an article from Nov 2 (http://www.sutherlandinstitute.org/news_old/2012/11/02/anti-discrimination-laws-and-marriage/), Derek Monson desperately tries to persuade his audience that those who object to homosexuality aren’t doing it for bigoted or hateful reasons. And here Paul Mero is working overtime to undermine his colleague’s position, going so far as to presume that the love two homosexual people feel for each other is inferior to the love two heterosexual people feel for each other, that these homosexual individuals are purely selfish. And why does he conclude that? Apparently because the only true kind of love is “Christian love.” If that’s not bigotry, what is?

Is this institute just some elaborate joke?
