I am a public school teacher and welcome increased observations by administrators and specialists. Given that the state of Utah has difficulty in funding adequate resources (teachers,buildings,etc.) for the 12,000 or more children who enter the system each year, how exactly do you propose paying for such evaluations?

As an elected member of the Davis School Board I have found that most of my constituents want just this kind of reform of teacher evaluations. I would add the idea of parental input to teacher evaluations. This would TRULY empower parents and encourage their involvement.
