While you’ve done an admirable job of “crying voucher,” you would do well to back up your argument with logic and/or facts. Here’s an important fact for you:

Vouchers: 100% of tax funds go to private schools
Education Savings Accounts: 0% of tax funds go to private schools

It does no one any good – especially the anti-voucher crowd – when people irrationally invoke the term “voucher” in contradiction of basic facts and logic. Just like when Peter cried “wolf,” eventually people stop listening.

The only thing that’s “obvious” about private schools in Rep. Dougall’s proposal is that they don’t get one penny. How is NOT giving private schools any tax funds the way to “get the camel’s nose under the tent?”

Education Saving Account is a Voucher.
The voter of the State of Utah spoke out resoundingly against vouchers.
Representative Dougall and other refuse hear…. apparently that voice also means nothing to the Sutherland Institute.

This is obviously a way to “get the camel’s nose under the tent” to eventually use public funds to pay for private school classes. The fact it is being proposed by the “voucher poster boy” John Dougal makes it even more obvious.
