1.First Session of the Utah Prosperity Forum is Full

“When it comes to economic development, the recruitment of companies typically takes center stage and grabs headlines. Yet what really drives new jobs is the expansion of existing, local companies,” according to Mark Lange, executive director of the Edward Lowe Foundation.  Lange will be in Salt Lake City on Friday, November 14, to facilitate the inaugural session of the Utah Prosperity Forum (UPF).  A joint effort of the Salt Lake Chamber and Sutherland Institute, the session topic will be “Economic Gardening” – an innovative, entrepreneur-centered, economic-growth strategy that complements more traditional “economic hunting” practices.

All seats for the November 14 session have been reserved.  A summary of the presentation and discussion will be made available on the Sutherland website and in next week’s email newsletter.
