Salt Lake City, UT – The Sutherland Institute announces the addition of Matthew Piccolo as a policy analyst to the conservative think tank’s team. Matthew will develop research in support of Sutherland’s policy priorities. He brings to Sutherland a specialty in economics and American politics. He earned a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University in April 2008, where he founded the Pepperdine Policy Review. In 2007, he was a Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow and an intern in Business and Economic Studies at the Pacific Research Institute in Sacramento, California. Matthew has previously worked at the Heritage Foundation in Washington D.C. and Family Health International in Arlington, Virginia. He earned a B.S. in International Finance from Brigham Young University.
