Sutherland Spreading Message of No Consensus on Global Warming
A survey of 530 climate scientists from 27 countries show that they are not in agreement about the causes and effects of climate change. While being interviewed on KCPW on August 21, 2007, Sutherland President Paul T. Mero said, “I think one of the reasons why we love and appreciate Governor Huntsman is he does care about Utahns and he is trying to do the right thing. When we released this study it was just a way to put things in context, to provide accurate information for him and for the State Legislature as they consider these kinds of proposals.”
Over the past week, Sutherland has distributed the study to 10,000 Utahns. This study does not address political issues associated with the question of global warming. Rather it provides information derived from the recent survey of climate specialists. After learning of our efforts, the Deseret Morning Newspublished an article in their August 18 edition, which can be read by clicking here.
