Tune into FOX 13‘s “Good Day Utah” on Tuesday, July 17, from 8:00-9:00 am to listen to Paul T. Mero, president of Sutherland Institute, as he discusses his recent book, The Natural Family: A Manifesto. Mero co-authored the book with Allan C. Carlson, founder of the Howard Center for Family, Religion & Society.
In the book, Carlson and Mero point to the numerous studies and extensive research that show just how important a two-parent family is in today’s society. Children in two-parent families do better. They are healthier, they achieve more academically, they are safer physically, and less apt to get into serious trouble. The authors explain why the love and leadership of parents is crucial to a child’s development and make a strong case for the “the natural family” as the foundation of a free and healthy culture.
Mero has been interviewed or scheduled to be interviewed by approximately 30 radio stations throughout the nation regarding the importance of the family as the fundamental unit of society.
