2007 Sutherland Transcend Series

Plan now to join us for the fourth season of the award-winning Sutherland Transcend Series.

Session One – Thursday, April 12The Choice: Leadership and Self-Deception, a full-day seminar. Beginning at 8:30 am, this session will include breakfast and lunch, and will conclude at 4:30 pm.  We are excited once again to host Mr. Jim Ferrell, managing director of the Arbinger Institute and best-selling author of Leadership and Self-Deception and The Peace Giver, as he facilitates Arbinger’s renowned seminar.  Of this remarkable program, Dr. Stephen R. Covey has said,

“I’ve known the work of Arbinger Institute for years.  [Their] ideas are profound, with deep and sweeping implications…Leadership and Self-Deception provides the perfect introduction to this material.  It is engaging and fresh…and packed with insight.  I couldn’t recommend it more highly.”

Recognized as a 2006 “Best of State” medal recipient, the Sutherland Transcend Series is uniquely designed for elected, community, and business leaders and citizens seeking better understanding and tools with which to serve.  Past participants include 33 state legislators from across the political spectrum, and many county and city officials from throughout the state. Those who attend and complete all three sessions will receive a certificate of completion.  Attorneys who attend may also receive CLE – Ethics credits.

The 2007 Series will consist of three outstanding sessions, each to be conducted on the second Thursday of the month: April 12, May 10, and June 14.  The May half-day session will explore “Ethics and Integrity: Timely and Timeless.” In the concluding June session (also a half day), we will address “Civility in Our Culture and Politics.”
