Partner Violence

This researcher studies data from the National Survey of Families and Households and finds that women who earn less than a third of the familyís income have 48% lower odds of experiencing violence from their male partners than women who earn more than two-thirds of the familyís income. Women with children in the home under age 18 also have slightly smaller odds of experiencing violence from their male partners.
