Over 350 participants are registered to attend Utah’s Freedom Conference: Reclaiming Our Constitutional Heritage on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City.

Sponsored by Utah United, A Coalition of Utah’s Pro-Republic Organizations, this day-long educational event will feature locally- and nationally-respected specialists, including Dan Byfield, president of the American Land Foundation, and Karen Budd-Falen, a successful defender of land-use cases in federal courts.  Two of Utah’s congressmen, Rep. Rob Bishop, and Rep. Jason Chaffetz, will address the Tenth Amendment and related topics, and Bill Howell, co-author of the book Statehood and an expert on state and federal lands, will speak on Utah’s recent state sovereignty legislation.  Other presenters and workshop facilitators will include members of the Utah Legislature and leaders among the state’s citizen-advocacy groups.

Participants in this one-day conference will receive the information and tools necessary to protect state sovereignty and organize and energize grassroots activities in their local communities.

The action-packed day will kick off with a prayer breakfast with Stephen Pratt, founder of Liberty and Learning, followed by a mix of plenary sessions, hands-on workshops, great food, and association with others in the cause of freedom.  For more information, click here.
